Laurie-Anne Kuzel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and founder of Rising Tide Therapy, LLC. She received her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling in 2014 from Nova Southeastern University. Laurie-Anne has experience working with clients of all ages, however, her current focus is on teens and adult women. 

“It is my role as your therapist to help you connect with your True Self, and find the solutions to your problems and walk through hardships gracefully by asking you the right questions and equipping you with the necessary tools.

The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of my work, and I believe it can be a stepping stone to work with clients that struggle with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and behavioral difficulties. I utilize a person-in-environment approach, and look at a person’s life holistically in order to help with positive integration of the mind, body, spirit

I like to use a variety of different therapeutic modalities in order to meet the client where they are at, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Nature Informed Therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.”

Laurie-Anne spends her time out of the office with her family doing many outdoor activities, such as hiking, boating and fishing as well as tending to her ‘hobby farm.’
