Tonia Zelik, RCSWI
Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern
Tonia believes therapy should be a place where you can truly be yourself—without judgment, pressure, or the feeling that you have to have everything figured out. She brings a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to her work with children, teens, and adults, helping clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported.
Tonia has a special interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism. She recognizes that everyone experiences and interacts with the world differently and strives to create a space that honors each client’s individual strengths, needs, personality, and way of communicating.
Whether a client is struggling with difficult emotions, navigating life changes, building confidence, processing grief, or simply needs a safe place to talk, Tonia meets them where they are. Her goal is to help clients better understand themselves, develop practical tools for everyday life, and feel more confident navigating challenges.
Tonia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from the University of Central Florida in 2019 and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2022.
Her training and therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Psychoeducational Therapy, Supportive Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and grief work.
Above all, Tonia wants her clients to leave therapy feeling heard, accepted, supported, and empowered to be themselves.
